Aimed at

Occupational Therapists and Advanced Students of this career who have already taken the Introductory course or have registered to take it in this instance.

Course content:

Authentic social engagement: listening to those we serve. Considerations when interpreting the SP2. Considerations when interpreting the SP2. Planning Intervention considerations. Focus on strengths, imagine the possibilities. Strengths-based documentation. Applying strengths-based documentation to a complex case. During these meetings, these topics will be developed through case analysis.

Winnie Dunn

Speaker

Winnie Dunn, Ph. D, OTR, FAOTA.

Distinguished Professor in the Department of Education in Occupational Therapy at the University of Missouri.

She is an internationally recognized expert for her studies on sensory processing in everyday life. She received her occupational therapy degree and a graduate degree in special education from the University of Missouri, and her doctorate in applied neuroscience from the University of Kansas. She has published more than 100 research articles, book chapters and has spoken around the world about his work.

She authored / co-authored all sensory profile measures, which record people´s responses to sensory events of everyday life. These assessments have been translated into dozens of languages and are used both for professional practice and in research programs. In 2014, Dr. Dunn completed research updating and standardizing Sensory Profile 2, to ensure that researchers and practitioners in practice have the most up-to-date evidence to support their decisions.

Course Content
